National Forest Authority (NFA) Commends Kontiki Bamboo Works Ltd Progress

Hoima, Uganda - In a proactive move to strengthen collaboration and promote sustainable forestry practices, members of the Uganda National Forest Authority (NFA) board recently paid a courtesy visit to Kontiki Bamboo Works Ltd (KBWL). The visit aimed to familiarize NFA board members with the bamboo value chain supply and commend KBWL for its remarkable progress in advancing bamboo cultivation and utilization in Uganda.

During the visit, NFA board members expressed their admiration for KBWL's dedication to promoting sustainable development through bamboo. Dr. Eng Ebal, the Board Chairman of NFA, commended KBWL's efforts and pledged NFA's support for their initiatives. In a significant announcement, Dr. Ebal committed NFA to provide land to KBWL for the expansion of bamboo plantations, further enhancing the availability of bamboo resources in the region.

"As stewards of Uganda's forests, NFA is pleased to collaborate with KBWL and support their endeavors.
